It’s Just a Little Procedure

A mysterious problem in my back was identified by a chiropractor in Santa Rosa CA. The problem was associated with one of the discs in my vertebrae. In order to eliminate the problem, I had to have a procedure done. Although the end result of the procedure was a fully healthy back, I was scared to go through with it. I’m not the kind of person who takes the news of having to go through medical procedures well. I always think about the kinds of things that could go wrong during, even for something that is simple and non-invasive.

The chiropractor told me that it would be a standard procedure and I would have nothing to worry about, and my wife tried to do the same, but all I could think about was an accident. My wife thought I was being a little silly. She’s usually the first person to go to the doctor, and if she needs to have a medical procedure done, she’ll get it done right away, after having a second opinion. She always tells me that if you want to live a long time, you have to go to the doctor on a regular basis and pay attention to your body’s warning signs.

I had a choice between living with the problem in my back for the rest of my life, or getting the procedure done and never having to think about it again. At the request of my wife and the chiropractor, I put my fears behind me and went through with the procedure. It was pretty quick and nothing went wrong. After I was done healing from the procedure, my wife took me out to dinner to celebrate. Looking back on the whole experience now, it was pretty funny how I was acting like a big baby.

I Got a Laugh out of This

I was almost ready to laugh when I got the call from this Sacramento personal injury attorney. He wanted me to testify on the character of this guy I know. Of course he was doing a slip and fall against some store and there is a chance that he actually did hurt himself on a slick spot, but I can not imagine that I am the best person they can find to testify that he is not the sort of guy who would lie about that. In fact he owes me money because at one time I was silly enough to think that he would pay me back.

Getting Started on a Big Project

I have just started out on this project, but it is going to take quite a bit of time to get it completed. The basic thing is that me and a half dozen other people bought a rather large piece of farm land which is just South of the metropolitan area. One of them is a chiropractor in Orland Park IL who fixed my back after someone crossed the center line and smashed into my truck about six years ago. He knew the other people and of course we are thinking about this as an investment, but it is not really that exactly. The land sits on a little tributary of the Illinois river where there is a lot of marshland and where you have that, you also have lots of water fowl. Obviously this makes it really easy to sell it to people who like to hunt ducks and fish.

The piece of land is huge, much of it has never been farmed.

Fatique Was Wearing Me out

When I told my friend I wanted to find a good chiropractor in Bakersfield CA, she immediately became concerned. She thought that I had been in an accident or had some type of injury, but I assured her that I was fine in both regards. I was just always feeling tired, and I had done some research on what could help me with it. In a lot of the online articles I had read, I saw where going to a chiropractor could actually help with this. If just one or two articles had mentioned it, I honestly don’t know that I would have considered going.

My Mom Lived Her Life As She Wanted to Instead of Following Everyone else

I wondered if my mom knew just how special she was to me before she died suddenly in an odd work accident? I found myself wondering if she ever realized what I thought of her? I was thinking about that last week during my visit at a Sacramento chiropractic center. I was laying on the table while the chiropractor as he examined me, and thinking about the fact that it was her intelligence that led me to have these appointments with him. Mom did not always go the traditional routes in life. She taught me that it is sometimes best to to try a variety of things until you find out what works best. Not everyone does that.

I knew my mom was different when I was pretty young. She wore hippie clothes instead of the business suits that some of the other mom’s wore. She would grow herbs instead of eating all the junk foods that most people ate. Rather than drinking sugar-laden sodas, she made her own teas and yogurt drinks. She would take a handful of supplements every day.

Baking Cookies All Day Just About Ruined My Back

Can you guess what did my back in over the weekend? Of all things, it was baking cookies. I was baking sheet after sheet of peanut butter cookies. A few hours into it, my back started to ache. It then progressed to the point of a pretty bad backache. It was pulling like I was hanging from a bridge by my fingertips for a day. I could not get the muscle spasms to relax. I spent all that time leaning over a countertop rolling peanut butter cookies into little balls and needed to see my Sacramento chiropractor the next day.

We were baking cookies to give to family, friends and neighbors. Everyone likes the cookies I bake.
